I couldn't be more than happy for everyone to be the person they were as they were able to capture stories that told a moral or value that everyone can take and bring home. Lessons in a story are very educational especially for children who do not know anything from right and wrong until they are taught.

I watched many performances in the classroom and it was fun to watch everyone go up and see how they tell stories and see all these different kinds of characters develop in each individual as they present their piece to the class.

I was very much into the story that Brian told about the smart blonde because he had pictures and it heled me visualize the story even better. He told it like a story and that really got me going. I was into the whole entire story because I wanted to know what would happen next.

The story about the abusive relationship with the father was sad and emotional. It was as if she was the character that was abused and it really hit her that she was dramatized and affected by it.
I enjoyed her story on how she was a strong woman to leave her father and husband because it takes a lot of courage to do that.

Term paper

My final term paper was about a story about a bear in the mall with a missing button.
No one ever bought him because of his imperfection. Finally one day a little girl liked the bear and bought him with her own money and sowed him a new button.

My created story was about two best friends who grew up ever since they were very little and they had a big fight over a girl in high school but resolved everything in the end and stayed best friends. The moral of the story is to not take things for granted.

Jimmy

This class was fun the cupcake was awesome and it was fun telling stories. One of my favorite classes I have taken thus far :D

It is past the half quarter mark and now I have seen some amazing story telling from my classmates where they were able to change characters, become a narrator and use facial expressions to tell a story. I enjoy the stories and very much can fall asleep hearing them. I hope that maybe one day I will be able to tell a story as well as my classmates do.

There are times of mayhem in the story of the how the man needed the sun and then the wind, next the water and so forth along with the Axe man. This is a very interesting piece where it can be retold in a variation of ways to describe different perspectives of others who present this material. I enjoy the story and wish for one day to retell the story except in my own way.

In the study of how Jimmy and Brian adventures turned up, I see that it is pretty difficult to come to a solidarity of focus on a particular subject matter that will tell a story of unique interest towards a character. I understand a little better of figuring out how to become more aware of doing things the right way requiring research and time studying and analyzing the material before presenting it in front of an audience. I have a better idea of how to put things in certain perspectives that will be useful to the audience in gaining feedback on what I present in class.

The Story

My story is about the dim sum girl and how I was able to project the story to make it interesting and for all to visually enjoy. I love this song a lot. I never learned the whole entire song but this is my favorite song to sing.

Teaching last week

Yes it has been quite some time since I posted for a while now. I must say I really do enjoy the class time where I was able to display some knowledge of the reading that was in the selection. I must say I loved the feedback that was given to me and how everyone helped out and asked questions. I really appreciate it and very grateful for all of the help that was given.

I am intrigued by the stories that are told in this classroom setting. the stories are animated by the professor and makes the class much more interesting than most of my classes that i have ever had. i hope that i will be able to become a better and much more interesting storyteller to others because it is fun at the same time you can make up a story along the way which catches the audience attention and gets them into the story. I am still not much of a reader but i will be putting a good effeort into reading what is needed to do well in this course.
